Ryan Lehrter

     Ryan hails from Dover, Ohio. An avid golfer, he started working in the golf course industry at the age of 14. He would spend all day on the golf course working on his game and then wash carts in the evenings.  At age 16 he moved to the golf course maintenance crew and officially started his turfgrass career.  He attended The Ohio State University and graduated from the College of Agriculture with a Bachelor of Science in Turfgrass Management and a minor in business.  During his college years he continued to work in golf course maintenance in his hometown, Columbus, and Myrtle Beach.  Upon graduation in 2005, Ryan relocated to Virginia Beach to start his Landscaping career.  

     Ryan started working in the green industry in 1997 and started his professional landscape career in 2005. He has been in the industry ever since working in the Southside Hampton Roads market, Peninsula Hampton Roads market, and Fredericksburg market.  During his career he has filled many different roles including Assistant Superintendent, Account Manager, Sr. Account Manager, Branch Safety Leader, Agronomics Manager, Associate Branch Manager, Branch Manger and now the General Manager for Earthscapes.  During his career Ryan has obtained numerous industry related certifications.  Ryan is a Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator, Landscape Industry Certified Technician through the National Association of Landscape Professionals, Certified Nutrient Management Planner through the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, OSHA 10 card holder, and a certified Smith Driving Systems trainer.  

     Ryan is very involved in the community serving in many different capacities at his church as a small group leader for the kids ministry, small group leader with parents and/or couples groups, building maintenance team, and also serves with the local Family Life Weekend to Remember Marriage Conference team.
