Himi Evans

Himi Evans grew up in the Blackwater area of Virginia Beach, where his love for the outdoors and heavy equipment took root early — watching his grandfather and uncles put in long days working for the City of Virginia Beach. That hands-on upbringing lit a spark that has never gone out.

 

Himi launched his career in the landscaping industry with the City of Virginia Beach before going on to help manage and grow his uncle's landscaping company, building a well-rounded foundation in both field operations and team leadership. In 2016, he joined EarthScapes as an entry-level crew member and never looked back. Through consistent hard work, genuine commitment to the team, and a quiet dedication to doing things right, Himi worked his way up through the ranks and was recently promoted to Production Manager — a role he has clearly earned.

 

Over his nearly decade with EarthScapes, Himi has become one of the go-to people for mentoring crew leaders and developing the kind of talent that makes a team click. His colleagues know him for his dependability, his attention to detail, and his ability to deliver exceptional results without a lot of fanfare. Customers know him for putting their satisfaction first, every single time.

 

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Himi brings a depth of knowledge that's hard to teach — and a work ethic that sets the standard. He believes teamwork, accountability, and hard work aren't just buzzwords; they're the backbone of a great workplace, and he leads by example every day.

 

When he's not on the job, Himi is all about family, country living, and unwinding with his favorite video games — a well-rounded guy who brings everything he's got to whatever he's doing.
